THERE'S POWER IN PRAYER

GOD woke me up last night
And said I should pray for you.
It did'nt matter the reason,
He knew what you were goin through.

So I crawled out of bed, still half asleep
And went to my knees in prayer,
I had a long talk with JESUS,
Oh what a sweet hour of prayer.

I cant say how long I was knelt there,
But I knew when my prayer was through,
That GOD had already answered,
For he knew just what to do.

If we go in faith and believing,
He'll answer our prayers as we pray,
Just trust in the LORD and remember,
THERE'S POWER IN PRAYER EVERYDAY!

I can say I have seen
the power prayer brings,
It's healed the sick
And it's cured the blind,
It's opened their eyes,
It's opened their mind.
It can make the lame to rise and walk,
And cause the dumb to sing and talk
It can give you strenght when you have none
For its an open line to GODs only SON,
It can save our friends and family
If we'll just Pray and believe.
FOR THAT IS THE POWER OF PRAYER!
